International Ladies Day 2022
On Sunday 13th March we hosted the International Women’s Day doubles competition and what a great day it was. The overall Gold winners were Jacqui Anderson and Jan Weaver from Royal Wootton Bassett Petanque Club, well done to you both. The bronze winners were Marion Sweet and Doreen Busby again from RWB and the silver winners were Mary Hughes and Elaine Sharp from Cricklade Petanque club. Gill Brooks and Chris Saunders, also from CPC qualified to play at the finals at Leamington Spa later in the year.
Very big thanks to Sue McKechnie for organising the competition and a big thank you to David Mason for being the umpire for the day.
