Thank you
Just a quick thank to all the 53 members that came out for the July fish & chip night, we all had a fun filled time and also managed to raise £201 for McMillan nurses so thank you all for the support. We also had four people playing who were on vacation in the UK over from Ireland who had never played before, they had fun and soon got the hang of playing, especially Ann.
A big thank you to Malcolm for thinking of all the different types of fund raising games.
Donations
The two games raised £150 and £51 was donated by some of the members, well done everyone.
We had 2 sets of boules given to the club by people that can no longer play and Angela and Steve have given them a home and both kindly donated £10 each so this will be added to the charity fund making it £221, We also had a small donation last week from a small group who used the piste for a game so we will add that to the fund to make it a total of £250 for the McMillan nurses.
Next Night
Our next fish and chip night will be Friday 26th August (be aware this is a bank holiday weekend) please can we get your orders and monies in by Wednesday 17th if possible.
Again thank you all, without you the club would not be the success it is.
